Equine Reproduction Services

The Ohio State University Equine Facility is pleased to offer equine reproductive services for stallions and mares such as phantom training, semen collection, evaluation, processing, shipment and freezing, artificial insemination, and foaling.

The goal of the OSU breeding program is to produce versatile athletes with good dispositions.  The majority of our horses are donated to us, except for the foals which were born here after hours of foal watching.  We have been extremely fortunate to have benefitted from the generous donations of numerous members of our community.  While some of the mares are added to our breeding herd, others are used for training classes.  Quality horses are offered for sale throughout the year.
