Research Experience Positions

Interested in research?

Do you like working in a laboratory, or would like to find out if you like it?

Hourly wage positions are available for undergraduate Animal Sciences majors who would like to do research in the Department of Animal Sciences.

Research activities can be directed by any faculty member in the Department of Animal Sciences who is willing to mentor a student. Some of the projects that may be available include: dairy cattle nutrition, swine nutrition, poultry nutrition, meat science, molecular biology, and microbes in livestock environments. Some positions are located in Columbus and others are at the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development
Center in Wooster, Ohio. These positions are available for $8/hour for 400 hours maximum (work schedules will vary with individual positions, however).
