    In an effort to help students connect with one another and destress, we’re launching a new monthly program called Buckeyes In Your Corner.  The third Wednesday of every month we will host not only an opportunity for you to meet people within the department, but also an activity that will hopefully be fun and help you work through your stress.

    CHAIRE is hosting another yoga event on March 21st! This time we are collaborating with Harrison Farm for two sessions of yoga with LIVE goats.

    Join the Animal Science Graduate Student Association for goat yoga! Two sessions of goat yoga will be held on April 1st one at 5:00pm & one at 6:30pm in the Animal Science Building Arena. Please RSVP in advance to Kelly Mitchell mitchell.1478@osu.edu. Participation is $10 for students and $15 for non-students. You must bring your own towel or yoga mat. Goats are provided by the Mid Ohio Dairy Goat Association.

ABOUT THIS EVENT: • $15 per adult, $10 for kids 6 to 12 & FREE for kids 5 and under • Catered lunch, game ticket & family-friendly activities included! • Free parking on campus lots for Spring Game • Buckeye Game Day Attire

    The Nathan Fechheimer Memorial Lecture Series in Animal Breeding and Production occurs spring semester.  Dr. Fechheimer was a professor in the Department of Dairy Science and very active leader in college and university government. The Fechheimer family established an endowment for this lecture series with the intent to bring in speakers that offer innovative and thought provoking ideas to test traditional scientific interpretations. The speaker gives lectures on the Columbus and Wooster campuses and interacts with faculty, staff, and students while visiting each campus.
