    Please join us for an enjoyable evening featuring Jack Hanna and animals from the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium! The evening includes an introduction to CHAIRE, a plated dinner, and of course, a presentation by Jack featuring animals from the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium. A cash bar will also be available. This is a fundraising event for CHAIRE and seats are limited! You can become an event host for a donation of $5,000. Each event host will receive a reserved 8-persons table for dinner and their individual or company name/logo listed on the event program.     Dr. Isain Zapata is a postdoctoral researcher in the College of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University. He has expertise in genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, and applied statistics. Dr. Zapata’s research is focused on the association of behavioral and morphological traits to genomic data in companion animals and animals of economic importance.

    From the Livestock Judging Team: The Ohio State University Livestock Judging team is once again hosting a Livestock Judging Camp for any youth who are interested in becoming better at judging livestock animals. At the camp, kids will learn how to evaluate the animals, take notes, and then present reasons. We will go over everything step by step, so it will be a learning process. On the last day, we will hold a mock contest, with prizes and recognition. There will be food, lodging, and different activities that are provided when attending.

    The Buckeye Bonanza Open House and Sale Preview is a great opportunity to come out and learn about the Ohio State Equine Program. Come to our open house and explore the farm! Meet the sale horses and get to know their student trainers. This is an open house for the equine facility and we will offer a petting zoo, sale horse demos, and much more! There will be fun for the entire family, young and old! A food vendor will be present on premises.
