Animal Agriculture 203 "Farm Animal Handling for First Responders" is a hands-on course presented by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation in cooperation with Ohio State University Extension through a grant from the Animals for Life Foundation. Dr. Steve Boyles was a trainer in the first course, Cattle & Sheep, which took place May 14 at Eastern Agricultural Research Station. The purpose of the course "is to provide a basic understanding of farm animal behavior and handling in order to be better prepared to respond in the face of an incident involving livestock."
