CAMPUS NEWS & EVENTS

INTERNSHIP & PART-TIME ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. There is an open position for an inspector in the North Florida area. For more information, see attached.

  2. There are up to 4 student assistant positions available ($13/hour) at the Zebrafish Facility on west campus. The position is open to all majors and is well-suited for an undergraduate with animal care experience who wants additional training in aquatic animal care.

  3. Applications are now being accepted for the 2025 Pleasant Valley Farms Internship Program! Pleasant Valley Farms of Berkshire, VT is a progressive large dairy farm operating on several campuses that manages our herd from newborn to mature dairy animal.

GRADUATE SCHOOL OPPORTUNITIES

  1. The University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine is offering two graduate programs and applications are open! To apply and learn more about the Certificate in Veterinary Science, visit this website.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

  1. Dairy Shrine scholarship applications are now open! All applications are due by midnight April 15th. See attached to apply! 

STUDY ABROAD INFORMATION

  1. Applications for the CFAES Global Education AU25 program are now open! The application deadline is June 10th, 2025.

LEADERSHIP & DEVELOPMENT

  1. FAES 2351 will guide students through the full process of Career Development. From exploration and building a resume to learning how to navigate the job search and negotiate a salary.

  1. All OSU Counseling and Consultation Services (CCS) staff were sent home to tele-commute until further notice.The CCS phone line 614-292-5766 remains available for emergency assistance 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.
