The National Dairy Shrine provides a significant number of scholarships to college students each year. The application process begins March 1, and applications must be submitted by midnight on April 15, 2026. Information about the new process, along with all applications and information about the scholarship programs, can be found here.
- The following are new scholarships available to dairy students:
- The National Dairy Shrine Pre-Vet Scholarship: A $2,500 scholarship sponsored by Zoetis for students in their third or greater year of a pre-vet program.
- The Richard H.L. Chichester Scholarship: A $1,500 scholarship sponsored by Select Sires for students in their third or greater year of college with an interest in marketing and communications in the dairy industry.
- The student recognition scholarship has been renamed the Dr. Les Hansen Student Recognition Scholarship thanks to a generous contribution from Dr. Les Hansen
