CAMPUS NEWS & EVENTS

  1. We could love for you to join us on January 14th in the Animal Sciences arena for the 2025 student faculty mixer! It is going to be from 5:30-7:30 and there will be delicious fajitas made by our very own Dr. Garcia! 

INTERNSHIP & PART-TIME ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. Columbus Humane has an opening for a behavioral internship!

  2. The Henry J. and Erna D. Leir Global Internship Program has a unique internship from January to August which includes free room and board and a small stipend located in Brewster, NY. Students graduating this December qualify.

GRADUATE SCHOOL OPPORTUNITIES

  1. There is a PhD-level position open with the Alliance for Regenerative Livestock at West Virginia University! See attached for more details.

FULL-TIME JOB ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. Mississippi State University is currently seeking a Meat Laboratory Associate.  This would be a great position for someone who is just finishing up a B.S. degree.  It could be someone considering graduate school in Animal and Dairy Sciences or any other department on campus.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

  1. If you are a sophomore, junior, or senior going into the feed industry, check out the Pamela J. Bryd Memorial Schoilarship!

STUDY ABROAD INFORMATION

  1. The Department has seen an uptick in requests from students that want academic credit for abroad experiences, like Loop Abroad (as advertised through PVMA), that are not programs hosted by OSU.  While these programs and experiences may provide a great experience, they will not be allowed
