INTERNSHIP & PART-TIME ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. Texas A&M University’s Global Health Research Complex (GHRC), in partnership with the USDA National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility, is pleased to offer a unique, grant-funded summer internship designed to prepare future animal caretakers for careers in biocontainment research environments.

  2. Ohio Poultry Association is accepting applicants for their summer internship. To be considered for this internship, please submit a resume by February 1, 2026, to Mandi Shirley at mshirley@ohiopoultry.org.

  3. Kentucky Equine Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center (KESMARC) is taking applications for their internships.

  4. Columbus Humane is offering an internship this upcoming spring term!

FULL-TIME JOB ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. Holloo dairy farm in Marshall Michigan is currently looking to hire a heifer manager. More information here.

  2. STgenetics is seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant or Registered Veterinary Technician to join their team! This position is ideal for an individual looking for full-time employment, which includes 40+ hours with rotating weekends.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

  1. The Ohio Soybean Council Foundation (OSCF) is pleased to offer $47,000 in scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students for the 2026-2027 academic year. Scholarships are available to undergraduate and graduate students pursuing studies related to the soybean industry and

  2. Feedworks USA, Ltd is offering a $5,000 scholarship for sophomores or higher academic rank. They have a preference for those majoring in Animal Sciences (and Poultry Science).

  3. The National Pork Producers Council is accepting applications for the 2026 Lois Britt Memorial Pork Industry Scholarship.

  4. National Dairy Herd Information Association (DHIA) announced that it will offer scholarships to third- and fourth-year college of veterinary medicine students. Successful applicants will receive a $1,500 scholarship.
