Please join us for this year’s Nathan Fechheimer Memorial Lecture Series, presenting: R. Dean Boyd, PhD – Animal Nutrition and Metabolism.

Dr. Boyd graduated from Colorado State U. in 1974 and from the U. of Nebraska in 1979 with a PhD in Animal Nutrition. His pioneering work in metabolic regulation of nutrient use for growing pigs is considered landmark. He was later appointed as the first director of nutrition for Pig Improvement Co., where he initiated nutrition research and research-based specifications for genetic products. His career culminated as technical director for the Hanor Company (85,000 sows) and as technical adviser to the Triumph Foods group.
