INTERNSHIP & PART-TIME ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. AgroChem USA is offering a Summer internship in 2026! For more information, see attached, visit this website, or call 1+ (518)-913-3449. 

  2. The Vet Clinic in Worthington is looking to hire a kennel technician! This position is available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with flexible start times to accommodate student schedules.

  3. The Council for Agricultural Science and Technology is offering a part-time internship!

  4. Humane Aniumal Rescue of Pittsburgh is offering a Summer internship at their Wildlife Rehabilitation center!

  5. Ohio 4-H Animal Sciences is offering a Summer internship! For more information, see attached. There are two spots available!

  6. The National Student Leadership Conference's Veterinary Medicine program is being held at Virginia Tech this summer. The NSLC offers pre-college summer programs for high school students facilitated by current/recent college students.

  7. The Association of Public Health Laboratories is offering a Summer internship! Visit this website to learn more and apply!

RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES

  1. Research positions are available at OSU for undergraduate students who are interested in research in the Department of Animal Sciences.  Applicants must commit to full-time research over a 10-week period during summer 2025 and participate in the CFAES Undergraduate Research Forum spring semester

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

  1. The Voyager Scholarship is a two-year program for second-year students interested in careers in public service.

  2. The 2025 Targeting Excellence Scholarship is now open! Applications are due at midnight on March 10th.

LEADERSHIP & DEVELOPMENT

  1. Pork Prospect is holding a Swine Discovery Day on February 24th! Registration is due by February 19th. See attached for more details.

  2. Southern Illinois University is offering a short course about semen handling and processing March 7-9. See attached to learn more.

HELPFUL RESOURCES

  1. All OSU Counseling and Consultation Services (CCS) staff were sent home to tele-commute until further notice.The CCS phone line 614-292-5766 remains available for emergency assistance 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.
