Stallion Semen and Mare AI Short Course

The Animal Science Short Course Program at Southern Illinois University is pleased to announce their two upcoming short courses in equine reproduction: A 2.5-Day Stallion Semen Short Course: From Collection to Cooling and Freezing and a 2.5-Day Mare Artificial Insemination Short Course at SIU on April 9–11 (Stallion Semen Course) and April 12–14 (Artificial Insemination Course), 2026. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to learn and get hands-on experience about reproduction in horses, and to gain knowledge on semen handling and/or artificial insemination, whether to build your resume/CV or to be a competitive applicant when you enter the job market.
