National Bio- and Agri-Defense Facility (NBAF) Training Program

For two years Texas Tech University has administered the National Bio- and Agri-defense Facility (NBAF) training program through support from USDA-APHIS. The objective of the program is to train undergraduate students in laboratory techniques and animal handling. The fellowship also offers background regarding various biological safety levels and other considerations for work with animals and in high containment environments. Students will also have the opportunity to work with a mentor at TTU during the summer of the fellowship. 

Stipend and housing is offered to students as a part of the summer program segment. Find more information here
