Tuition and Fees
Everyone wonders how much college will cost each semester or how much it will cost to complete a degree. Undergraduate Admissions at The Ohio State University can help you answer those questions. Click here to learn more.
Student Jobs
Maintaining a job while working toward a degree will not only help you to pay for your education but also will help instill time management habits. You can learn about Federal Work-Study student employment opportunities, including on-campus and off-campus jobs. Click here to learn more.
If you are a work-study student and have financial aid for the school year, you can find the Animal Sciences positions on the Work-Study job site using the search engine. If you find a position in which you are interested, contact the supervisor listed on the work-study referral form. You will need to print this form out when you go for an interview with the supervisor.
The Department of Animal Sciences has a variety of positions available for students. These include working in laboratories, clerical offices, and barn at the farms. If you are interested in one of the farm positions, you can contact the farm managers at each of the Columbus-area farms. If you are unsure which supervisor to contact for a position, you can contact Michelle Milligan (contact info at right) for information on any open positions in the department.
Scholarships
Scholarships are good avenues to help with college expenses. Many are merit based, and some may require other conditions.

You must file the college Scholarship Application Form (click here for link) to be considered for departmental scholarships. This application is available November 1 and must be submitted by February 15. The college Scholarship Application is the only one necessary for all of the departmental scholarships listed below, and, of course, this application also applies to College scholarships.
Receipt of a departmental academic award does not preclude your receiving college or university awards if you qualify.
