MS Student Position- PennState

The Dobbins Lab at the Pennsylvania State University is recruiting a M.S. student to begin in August 2026 on a fully funded assistantship. 

We are recruiting a student with interest in the growth and development of skeletal muscle and/or meat science. Previous and ongoing work in the lab includes:
• Influence of maternal nutrition on fetal skeletal muscle
• In-utero immune stimulation impacts on postnatal growth
• Factors effecting meat quality and color
• Identification of markers in the early postmortem period as indicators of meat quality
• Use of MRI to assess fetal pig body composition


Students who have interest in this position should have a desire to learn, excellent
