INTERNSHIP & PART-TIME ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. Stauffer Farms, in North Lawrence, New York, is looking to add a fall semester intern; but the timeline is flexible.

  2. An opening is now available for the OSU Animal Sciences Summer Internship, offering a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting youth programming at the Ohio State Fair.

  3. There is a student internship opportunity at a horseback trail-riding and carriage tour operation, at 

  4. Hartschuh’s New Dawn Dairy (Sycamore, Ohio) is hiring for a Field & Facilities Crew Member (seasonal) and a Herdsman or Herd Intern.

FULL-TIME JOB ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. There is an open ‘Livestock Production Specialist’ position here in OH that will be through Purina and Centerra Co-op. Its in entry level position in nutrition and dairy sales. it is suggested that the position would be best for an undergraduate or MS student.

  2. We have two immediate openings for part time Animal Care Technicians for our canine, feline, avian and exotic hospital.

  3. There are several positions open in the Select Sires Member Cooperative territory for both office and field positions.

RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES

  1. We are seeking a Summer Scholar to join our research team for a 14-week summer program (mid-May through mid-August) focused on tick surveillance on agricultural properties and development of training materials for future student researchers.

  2. A scholarship opportunity is available to rising seniors accepted into a veterinary school. The Chester Gipson Scholarship is designed to support aspiring veterinarians interested in a career in regulatory veterinary medicine.
