We have two immediate openings for part time Animal Care Technicians for our canine, feline, avian and exotic hospital. We are a 5-doctor, AAHA accredited, independent practice in the Northwest Columbus/Dublin area serving the community for nearly 40 years. Our busy boarding facility specializes in catering to a wide variety of species. We take enormous pride in providing for the unique physical, mental and emotional needs of our guests while they are away from their human families. We are primarily looking for summer/seasonal help, although we can offer hours during the school year and school breaks if desired.
Our perfect fit will be a service-minded professional who is passionate about best practices for comfort, cleanliness and enrichment for all of our guests and has pride in maintaining a pristine facility. Previous experience in animal care and handling is a plus, desire to learn and work with avian and exotic species is a must. Interest in Fear Free principles, excellent attention to detail and superb work ethic is required. Shifts can vary as the facility is staffed 7am-8pm seven days a week, all are expected to work their fair share of weekend and holiday shifts.
The position pays $16/hour, with generous pet product, food, pet boarding and medical service discounts and uniform allowance.
