There are up to 4 student assistant positions available ($13/hour) at the Zebrafish Facility on west campus. The position is open to all majors and is well-suited for an undergraduate with animal care experience who wants additional training in aquatic animal care. Duties include: feeding fish, cleaning tanks & glassware, organizing & cleaning facility, recording system parameters daily, reporting abnormal fish behavior and system issues, cultivating live foods, and assisting with solving system issues. Typical shifts are 3-5 hour time blocks and are available between 9 am and 6 pm all days of the week. Availability for some weekend shifts is required.
