Animal Sciences Graduate Students Receives Awards at the 2021 American Dairy Science Association Annual Meeting

The Department of Animal Sciences graduate students received awards at the 2021 American Dairy Science Association (ADSA) Annual Meeting which was held virtually on July 11-14, 2021. 

Lindsay Larsen

Lindsay Larsen was the winner of the Purina Animal Nutrition Graduate Student Poster Presentation Contest – MS Division (Advisor: Dr. Benjamin Enger). Lindsay is completing her master’s degree in Animal Sciences with a focus on mastitis and mammary physiology.

Lucas Rocha Rebelo

Lucas Rocha Rebelo received the National Milk Producers Federation Graduate Student Paper Presentation Contest in Dairy Production Award in the Ph.D. Division and also, the Novus International ADSA/EAAP Ph.D. Student Travel Award. (Advisor: Dr. Chanhee Lee). Lucas is a PhD candidate studying dairy nutrition at The Ohio State University. He obtained his MSc degree in Animal Science at Sao Paulo State University in Brazil and his BSc in Animal Science at the Federal University of Mato Grosso in Brazil.
