Brooklyn Wagner

Please join us in welcoming Brooklyn Wagner to our department. Brooklyn joins CFAES ǀ Animal Sciences Department as the new lecturer and advising coordinator. Brooklyn received her BS, MS and PhD degrees in Animal Sciences from The Ohio State University with specializations in livestock nutrition, physiology, and welfare. Following completion of a two-year postdoc position at North Carolina State University's College of Veterinary Medicine, during which she gained experience in swine and poultry welfare, she returned to her home city of Columbus, Ohio and traveled the region as a Livestock Welfare Auditor. While she misses North Carolina’s climate (namely the winters), she is thrilled to be back home, surrounded once again by family and fellow Buckeyes. She is passionate about all things Animal Sciences and looks forward to using her knowledge and experience to support students, staff, and faculty. Brooklyn is an avid swimmer, is working on becoming a better gardener, enjoys painting, and aims to visit all of the National Parks. If you are in Columbus, stop by room 110J to welcome Brooklyn in her new role.
