C. Lynn Knipe Appointed to the National Advisory Committee on Meat and Poultry Inspection

The USDA appointed 10 new members to the National Advisory Committee on Meat and Poultry Inspection (NACMPI).  Dr. Curtis Lynn Knipe will be serving a two-year term using his expertise to play a key role in the USDA’s safety regulations which play a key factor in making sure the United States food supply is safe.

NACMPI is an advisory committee that initiated in 1971 and advises the Secretary of Agriculture on food safety policies that will affect consumers and the meat industry.
