The Department of Animal Sciences is pleased to announce the addition of two new faculty members; Dr. Rafael Domingues, Assistant Professor in Ruminant Physiology and Dr. Ramon Zegpi Lagos, Assistant Professor in Poultry Diseases. Dr. Rafael Domingues is an Assistant Professor in Ruminant Physiology whose scholarly endeavors will focus on ruminant livestock reproductive and/or developmental biology.
Dr. Ramon Zegpi Lagos joined the Department of Animal Sciences and Center for Food Animal Health (CFAH). Dr Zegpi Lagos is an Assistant Professor in Poultry Diseases. He will expand and build upon our programmatic strengths, expertise, assets, and impact through research on current poultry diseases, including emerging and re-emerging diseases, and impacting poultry production.
