Graduate Students Win at Research Conference

The Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OARDC) holds an Annual Research Conference in Wooster or Columbus to highlight current research in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences and to recognize outstanding researchers in the college. In 2016, two Animal Sciences graduate students placed in the graduate poster competition. Amanda luoma (advised by Dr. Ramesh Selvaraj) won 3rd place in te Masters student poster competition. Christopher Okonkwo (advised by Dr. Teddy Ezeji) won 3rd place in the PhD student poster competition.

In addition, Dr. Zhongtang Yu was part of the Panel Discussion at the conference, which was focused on "Microbiomes and Their Role in Plant and Animal Health and Disease".
