Gregg Fogle, Small Ruminant Research and Teaching Center Manager with the College of Food, Agriculture, and Environmental Sciences,
Animal Sciences Department was one of the 2023 Distinguished Staff Award recipients for Ohio State University. Recipients are nominated and must meet a rigorous set of criteria to be considered for this prestigious award. Gregg has 20 plus years of service with Ohio State University, positively impacting students, faculty, staff, community, and others. Gregg received several letters of recommendation from within and outside the university. Some of the highlights of his many outstanding qualities that his nominators recognized him for are:
- Enhancing the quality of work life in ways that make a significant difference for colleagues or customers
- Providing outstanding and ongoing excellence in service to faculty, staff, students, community, and/or other customers
- Developing creative solutions to problems that result in significantly more effective and efficient department or university operations.
- Consistent demonstration of one or more of the university’s values: Excellence, Collaborating as One University, Acting with Integrity and Personal Accountability, Openness and Trust, Diversity in People and Ideas, Change and Innovation, Simplicity in Our Work, Empathy and Compassion, and Leadership
Gregg along with the other 2023 University Distinguished Staff Award recipients were recognized during a luncheon at the Longaberger Alumni House, received a cash award, and will be recognized this fall at one of the OSU football games.
