MacKenzie Dore Joins Animal Sciences as 4-H Program Coordinator

Dec. 8, 2021

The 4-H Animal Sciences team is excited to announce MacKenzie Dore as our new Program Assistant. MacKenzie is a recent graduate (‘20) of the Department of Animal Sciences, with a minor in Agribusiness and Applied Economics. She grew up raising and showing both cattle and swine, and is passionate about judging swine and educating youth in the livestock industry. MacKenzie interned 3 years for 4-H Animal Sciences and brings that experience in Skillathons and judging contest programming to her new position. A part of the team that unveiled the state virtual Skillathons during the pandemic, MacKenzie’s position will support the growth of our 4-H youth livestock programming throughout the state. Says MacKenzie, “I am so excited to start this position and cannot wait to see where it will lead me.” Her first day in the position will be December 6, 2021.
