The American Quarter Horse Association recognized The Ohio State University for 50 cumulative years of American Quarter Horse breeding. The award was actually given in 2013, but the statue and plaque were presented to Dr. Kimberly Cole at this year's American Quarter Horse Congress in Columbus.
