The 11th Annual, Bi-State Youth Poultry Clinic was held at Fisher Auditorium in Wooster on March 28, 2015. In all, 235 Youth, Parents and Advisors signed up for this one day poultry clinic.
Talks included: Pullets and Hens, Pigeon Breeds, Diseases of Small Flocks, Avian Anatomy/Necropsy, Basics of Poultry Feed, Incubators and Equipment, Market Broilers, Turkeys, Showmanship, Quality Assurance for Poultry, Skillathon, Avian Bowl and several discussion groups.
OSU Animal Sciences personnel involved included John Anderson, Mike Lilburn, Ramesh Selvaraj, Mohammed El-Gazzar, Jarrod Snell, Keith Patterson, Jack Sidle and Julie Morris. 4H Extension personnel included Lucinda Miller and Jane Wright. Darrin Karcher and Richard Balander from Michigan State University and Bill Karcher from Eagle Nest Poultry were involved. Many volunteers pitched in to make this another very successful Clinic.
