Autumn Undergraduate Teaching Assistants

As you are planning your autumn semester, consider applying for a position as an Undergraduate Teaching Assisstant! 

Requirements to serve as a UTA include:

  • Third year rank or higher
  • Enrollment in the Department of Animal Sciences on the Columbus campus for at least one year
  • Successful completion of at least 3 of the following courses: 3100, 3110, 3130, 3140, 3150, 3160, 3170, or 3200
  • 3.0 GPA or better overall in the major
  • Completion of the UTA course assignment with a letter grade of a “B” or better

Students accepted as UTA are required to complete an online UTA orientation and the Institutional Data Policy Training.  Students may apply for 1-2 credits of 3488 (repeatable up to 6 credits, a maximum of 3 credits applied toward graduation).
