Farm and Horticulture Internships

Jonathan Hale Homestead

Five internship positions are available in various farm and horticulture areas this summer. These opportunities are being offered as part of the comprehensive Western Reserve Historical Society¹s Summer 2015 internship program. This program runs from June through August, and requires attendance of Monday museum-related classes and completion of a group project in addition to position duties. For your convenience, an overview of this program as well as the specific descriptions of the Farming and Horticultural positions are attached along with a WRHS application form. These internship programs will not only provide valuable hands on experience, but also have the added benefit of exposing students to historic breeds and techniques and working within a museum/ Non Profit setting. For questions on these specific internship positions, as well as the program as a whole, please contact Hale Farm & Village Education staff at 330-666-3711 x1720, or through email at halereservations@wrhs.org.

To apply for any of these positions, please send an application, cover letter and resume or CV to Lori Smith, lsmith@wrhs.org
