Southern Swiss Dairy, LLC is a family owned Grade A creamery located in Waynesboro, GA, built and opened in January 2010. The creamery’s products are non-homogenized and include ice cream and butter. Their products can be found from Atlanta to Savannah on numerous restaurant menus and grocery shelves.
They are seeking an intern for summer of 2017, beginning in May or early June and ending the beginning of August. A complete position description for the available internship is attached.
Students majoring in dairy science, animal science, food science, ag business or ag communications who are familiar with the dairy industry are preferred. Strong writing and public speaking, and computer skills are essential. While juniors or seniors will be given preference, sophomores will be considered. Applicants must submit cover letters and resumes with no less than three references no later than April 20, 2017.
