Whether you’re considering a career as an equine veterinary technician or veterinarian, a Veterinary Assistant Rotating Internship at Desert Pines Equine Medical & Surgical Center offers ample hands-on experience necessary to further your career aspirations. This six-month, full-time, paid internship allows graduates to take the skills they’ve learned in the classroom and apply them in the real world with the support of licensed veterinary technicians and a team of skilled veterinarians, including a board-certified surgeon and internist. The schedule rotates between day appointments and after-hours, allowing the intern to see a diverse caseload and use state-of-the-art equipment.
