NEWS & EVENTS

  1. The Ohio State University will be hosting the inaugural Buckeye Summit on Thursday, April 14 at the Ohio Union. The focus of this summit will be food security and the role that each of us can and will play in addressing this critical issue.

  2. Shades of Animal Science will be hosting a fundraiser at Blaze Pizza on Tuesday, April 19 from 6-10pm.

  3. On Wednesday, April 6, from 1:00pm-4:00pm, Ohio Farms Packing will be holding office hours in the CFAES Library and Student Success Center as a part of the Employers on Campus program.

  4. Would you be interested in an all-expense paid trip to Lexington, KY and free registration to the Alltech Ideas Conference?

  5. Shades of Animal Science is an organization that networks students with faculty members and career professionals in the several areas of animal sciences. They participate in several hands-on activities throughout the year with animals such as cattle, primates, big cats, and rabbits.

LEADERSHIP & DEVELOPMENT

  1. In conjunction with the 52nd AIARD Annual Conference, the Future Leaders Forum will be offered again this year thanks to the support of USAID.

  2. A Day in the Life of a Buckeye is a program that offers a one-on-one experience for inner city and Appalachian area high school sophomores and juniors to experience life at The Ohio State University, and college in general, for a day.

  3. Do you enjoy sharing your passion for Ohio State with others? Would you be willing to show high school students what it is like to be a Buckeye? The "Experience OSU for a Day" (EOFD) Program allows prospective students to get a feel for what college is really like.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

  1. The National Poultry & Food Distributors Association awards scholarships to various students of agricultural colleges and universities across the United States. Each selected student will receive a $2000-2500 scholarship from NPFDA.

  2. This merit-based, non-renewable scholarship is available to students who have an overall GPA of at least 3.0 and can provide letters of recommendation as well as evidence of career motivation. Up to $2,500 is available for students entering their final year in four-year and five-year programs.
