Purdue university is seeking a student interested in pursuing the MS degree to work on a USDA-funded project involving food allergic response in a swine model. Applicants should have interest in immunology and/or genomics and have a strong background in biological sciences (animal science, biology, pre-veterinary or pre-medical science) and able to learn and conduct laboratory procedures. The research involves the use of pig lines selected for high and low immune response, both as an agricultural species and as a model of human food allergies. The starting date is August 2015.
