  2. Nocturne is a 4-year-old shorthair cat. Bethany adopted her after assisting her birth at the Union County Humane Society, where her mother had been surrendered. She loves treats, snuggles, and when Bethany sings her favorite song, "Nocturne" by Celtic Woman.

INTERNSHIP & PART-TIME ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. The Kentucky Equine Management Internship is planning to host interns for our upcoming Spring Reproduction and Breeding session to be held January 11-June 11, 2021 with some minor modifications to the academic portion of the course.

  2. New Bridge Veterinary Practice is looking to hire. The position is very hands-on at their small animal hopsital in Bergen County, NJ. The hours are flexible based on class schedule and virtual learning. 

GRADUATE SCHOOL OPPORTUNITIES

  1. An online information session for spring 2021 enrollment in the MS Translational Pharmacology (MSTP) program will be taking place on Thursday, September 3, 2020. 

FULL-TIME JOB ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. Job Description/Essential Duties: Animal Care Technician (FULL TIME). 

    An animal care technician works one-on-one with our research animals to maintain their quality of life and health while in our facility. 

COLUMBUS EVENTS

  1. The Pearl Market is a farmer’s market full of fresh foods and open through Oct. 16, 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., 31 E. Gay St Columbus, OH 43215. Pearl Market takes place every Tuesday and Friday. 

  2. Take a professionally guided kayak paddle down the Scioto River from Scioto Audubon Metro Park to downtown Columbus, and then back again.

  3. SummerFEST is a two-week festival of outdoor, socially distant performances taking place between August 30 to September 11. Small groups of 4-15 musicians will perform for limited audiences at four venues.

NAVIGATING COVID TOGETHER
