CAMPUS NEWS & EVENTS

  1. The Processed Meats (MEATSCI 4510) class will present its final products on Wednesday, December 4, from 9:10am-11:15am in 117 Animal Science Building, to visitors who want to taste and judge the students' creations. Everyone is welcome to stop by and taste all of the products for free!

  2. The Center of Human-Animal Interaction Research and Development is excited to announce their first research symposium!

INTERNSHIP & PART-TIME ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. The fish facility is looking to hire an undergradute student. Over the years, they have found that the pre-vet students and animal science majors they have hired tend to enjoy the experience, so they wanted to reach out directly to those students.

FULL-TIME JOB ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. Adams Family Farms is looking to hire an individual who is interested in the swine industry and wants hands on experience. They currently have 3 nursery swine barns that have a total of 20,000 – 30,000 nursery spaces.

RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES

  1. The University of Nebraska is now accepting applications for the Summer 2020 Research Program. This 10-week, full-time residential summer research experience provides mentoring and research participation while allowing scholars to preview graduate school life at a Research1 university.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

  1. The Ohio Soybean Council Foundation is awarding $44,000 in scholarships to graduate and undergraduate students studying agriculture or a related field.
