A PhD and/or MS graduate research assistant position(s) is available in Dr. Jackie Boerman’s at Purdue University to pursue projects related to applied dairy cattle nutrition.
A strong undergraduate (or Master’s degree) with a background in Animal Science, Biology or related majors is required, with some prior research experience preferred. Research will be focused on the presentation of diets impact on intake and production and/or nutritionally manipulating energy partitioning in lactating dairy cattle.
A strong candidate will have a competitive GPA and GRE score, experience handling dairy cattle, and previous lab experience. Anticipated start date is January, 2018 and/or August, 2018.
