INTERNSHIP & PART-TIME ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. The U.S. Trotting Association is going to have 2 internships next summer in our Information & Research Department.  Interns will perform tasks related to the gathering, compilation, and dissemination of racing and breeding data for the USTA, its members and customers.

  2. The Animal Welfare and Behavior Lab in the Department of Animal Sciences is seeking one undergraduate student to work on a swine research project. Responsibilities will include video and photo editing of swine farms and data entry.

  3. Legan Livestock & Grain is a 3,000 sow breed to wean family farm producing 80,000 weaned pigs annually located in central Indiana. One third of their weaned pigs are sold to customers (farmers) in Indiana & Illinois and the rest are co-owned with two other partners in Indiana.

  4. Cargill Animal Nutrition provides customized animal productivity solutions to commercial producers across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Rather than focusing on standardized nutrition products, we create customized ingredient blends and management programs to fit each situation.

  5. Seasonal, rotational grazing dairy farm seeking individuals interested in all aspects of grass farming. Duties would include milking, calf raising, herd management, sheep and hog care, and other farm-related jobs.
