Dairy Genetics Service Intern

The Dairy Genetic Services department is seeking a Summer Intern to assist with processing and analysis of herds and providing customer service to ABS field staff and customers. This Intern will help customers to achieve long-term genetic, reproductive and profitability goals. Additionally, this position will assist in designing and developing training and marketing materials for ABS Customers and field Representatives. This position will have the ability to travel and work with other departments within ABS Global.

Qualified candidates will be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, Dairy Science or related field. Candidate must have experience working with Microsoft Excel. Genetic, Reproductive and Dairy Management courses and Collegiate Judging Team experience are very beneficial. Commitment to the dairy industry demonstrated through strong involvement in industry-related organizations or clubs is preferred. This internship candidate must be self-motivated, have excellent organizational and communication skills and be able to handle multiple projects. The ability to demonstrate a positive, professional image for ABS is essential.
