MS Assistantship Integrated Crop Livestock Systems

A graduate research assistantship (MS) evaluating integrated crop livestock systems in the Animal Sciences Department at North Dakota State University is looking to be filled. The primary objective of this study to assess the influence of grazing management strategies on environmental and economic parameters within an integrated crop livestock system. Specifically, the influence of stock density and forage utilization of grazing livestock on 1) soil physical, chemical and biological properties, 2) crop production, 3) livestock production and 4) economics.  This project will provide valuable information about the effects of different grazing management strategies related to integrated crop livestock systems, assisting producers in making management decisions. See the attached flier for more details.
