CAMPUS NEWS & EVENTS

  1. 2019 Lindsay Hill 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament

    OSU's Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow are proud to host the 6th annual Lindsay Hill Memorial Tournament. The event will be held in the RPAC on March 23rd starting at 11. Teams will play a 3 on 3 game with one sub available for a 20 minute running clock.

  2. Ohio Poultry Industry Networking Event

    The Ohio Poultry Association, along with the Ohio State University, invite you to participate in our first Ohio Poultry Industry Networking Event. Representatives from prominent poultry companies in Ohio will be there to discuss internship and job opportunities.

  3. Goat Yoga

    CHAIRE is holding a goat yoga event on March 21st  from 5:30pm-6:30pm or 7:00pm-8:00pm for students, faculty and staff in the Animal Science Building Arena! The cost for students is $10 and the cost for faculty/staff is $20.

  4. Russell Klein Nutrition Research Symposium

    Registration for the 2019 Russell Klein Nutrition Research Symposium is officially open! This year’s symposium will be held on April 18th 2019 from 8am-5pm at the Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center.

INTERNSHIP & PART-TIME ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. Ohio State University Extension Internship Program

    Through this paid internship, interns work closely with a local OSU Extension educator as they teach classes, work with volunteers and make a difference in the community.

  2. Internship at Waterman Dairy

    There are internship and job opportunities available at Waterman Dairy Farm for the summer of 2019. The OSU Waterman Dairy milks 100 registered Jerseys and raises approximately 165 replacement heifers.

  3. Full and Part-Time Positions at Trueman Farms

    Full and Part Time Positions Available Immediatley at Trueman Farms. Starting pay is $12/13 per hour. This is an excellent opportunity to gain a well rounded equine experience at a privately owned and operated small horse farm located 20 minutes from campus close to Dublin/HIlliard area.

  4. HHYF Summer Position

    The Harness Horse Youth Foundation is seeking an assistant/instructor to travel during the months of late May, June, July and part of August. Person must be great with kids, capable of driving a truck/6-horse trailer, and self motivated! Harness racing background helpful but not required.

  5. Stauffer Farms Internship

    Stauffer Farms LLC is a 3800 cow dairy in northern St. Lawrence county NY.  They raise replacements and crop 3700 acres of corn silage and haylage.  The dairy facilities are modern, constructed over the span of 2009-2018. Wet calves are raised in a combination of calf barn and hutches.

  6. Purdue Research Assistantship

    There is a graduate research assistantship (M.S. in Animal Sciences) position opening at Purdue University. The position will study student motivation and curiosity in large enrollment introductory STEM-based courses beginning in August 2019. In addition to research, the M.S.

  7. Safari Adventures Animal Care Summer Internship

    Safari Adventures (Kalahari in Sandusky, OH) and The Watering Hole at Monsoon Lagoon (Port Clinton, OH) offer a 12-15 week Summer Internship program.

  8. 2019 Dairy Farm Internship

    The Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute (OSU/ATI) is 2 year technical school located in Wooster, Ohio.  The OSU/ATI Dairy Farm is 100 cow Holstein and Jersey herd that exist to provide practical experience to students during the Fall and Spring semesters.  The OSU/ATI Dairy

  9. Heimerl Farms Internship

    Heimerl Farms is a highly dedicated family run farming operation located 20 minutes northeast of Columbus in Johnstown, Ohio. Johnstown is home to not only their main office, but also the farm which started their swine enterprise many years ago.

  10. American Dairy Association Mideast Communications Intern

    The American Dairy Association is looking for a communications intern. The intern will gain experience working in an association setting and utilizing communication skills such as writing, editing, graphic design, photography and social media.

  11. Fine Swine, LLC. Internship

    This internship will be from May 20th, 2019 through August 2nd, 2019. This year is going to be very competitive, so keep that in mind while filling out the application.

  1. The Pork Checkoff Scholarship

    Do you enjoy sharing your passion for Ohio State with others? Would you be willing to show high school students what it is like to be a Buckeye? The "Experience OSU for a Day" (EOFD) Program allows prospective students to get a feel for what college is really like.

  6. Love Volunteering? Love Primates?

    At A.P.E.S. (American Primate Educational Sanctuary) volunteers take on a role similar to that of a keeper in a zoo. They clean the cages, prepare meals, do dishes, prepare enrichment, and other upkeep that may need done.

  7. Volunteer with The Mid-Ohio Foodbank

    The Mid-Ohio Foodbank is hoping to share some of their volunteer opportunities with students and faculty. They have a variety of projects available and would love some new volunteers!
