CAMPUS NEWS & EVENTS

  1. CHAIRE is excited to announce that Pilot Dogs is partnering with the Human-Animal Interactions Club to develop a puppy raising program.

  2. The (Local) Academic Quadrathlon Competition will be held in the Animal Sciences Bldg.

  3. The College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences is pleased to announce the 2022 Undergraduate Research Poster Competition on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from 1:00-3:00 p.m.  at the Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center. Registration is open now through March 9, 2022. For more

INTERNSHIP & PART-TIME ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. The Wilds' summer camp program at the Columbus Zoo is looking for counselors! Counselors spend weeklong periods, of up to 6 days, living at the camp facility with the campers. More information is attached

  2. Pleasant Valley Farms of Berkshire, VT is a progressive large dairy farm utilizing multiple locations to manage the different life stages of their cattle.

  3. Black Leg Ranch is offering an internship for summer of 2022! They are an extremely diverse cow/calf, bison, and feeding operation in southern North Dakota. The application and more information can be found at their website

  4. Abbott Nutrition is looking for interns! It would be 8-19 hours a week with a scientist or engineer on projects. This is a paid position based on year in school. 

  5. Birch Creek Farmery has an opening for their Summer 2022 sustainable ranch internship! It pays $15 an hour and is located west of Pittsburgh on the state line.

  6. Cleveland Museum of Natural History has eight paid undergrad internships for this summer in various Natural History areas including paleontology, 3D modeling, anthropology, zoology, education and with live animals! Applications are due March 15.

  7. The Agronomy and Farm Solutions team at AGCO is driven to enhance farm value through science and engineering by connecting sensors and machines to plants and soils.

  8. The Greenacres Research Department is looking for a paid research intern from May 1st to September 1st to join their 2022 season. Greenacres research uses a multidisciplinary approach to explore connections between management practices and the outcomes on both our land and end products.

  9. Certified Humane is a nonprofit certification organization that performs on-farm audits and assessments to affirm that poultry and livestock producers are complying with their
