This is a full-time position/graduate program associated with the activities and mission of the Montana Wool Laboratory at Montana State University. The position pays $40,000/year with full MSU benefits including a partial tuition waiver. This position is an active component of MSU’s sheep research, teaching, and extension programs.
This person will be responsible for the development and implementation of laboratory services, research, and outreach programs related to the Montana Wool Laboratory and its externally funded research and outreach initiatives. In many cases, this individual will be responsible for performing assigned duties in the absence of direct supervision.
A BS in animal science or related field is required and an MS preferred. Graduate research associated with this position will be in the area of sheep and wool production.
