The Animal Science Community Alliance (ASCA) is a leadership group comprised of sophomores, juniors, and seniors in the Department of Animal Sciences. Each member will assist in the recruitment of high school students, serve as a peer mentor/small group leader in the ANIM SCI 2700 course, support and mentor current students in the department, plan and implement retention events that build community, and engage in the Columbus community through the mentorship of at-risk youth via science education and professional development activites.
