The Stark County Dairy Promoters Scholarship Fund based with the Stark Community Foundation, Canton, Ohio, has helped students for 25 years. Criteria for this scholarship includes: Students whose permanent address is in Stark County, Ohio and who are pursuing 2 or 4 year college level study or graduate level study in the fields of dairy science, large animal Veterinary Medicine, Human Nutrition, or Food Science; have a 2.5 high school GPA, and have demonstrated financial need. Students who have won in the past are eligible to apply again. Deadline for the application to be submitted is April 1, 2017.
