Attention Undergraduate and Graduate Students: Would you benefit from a scholarship to help fund your education? Do you have an interest in food animal production? Are you willing to write a short essay describing your interest in food animal production? Are you willing to participate in a program to meet food animal industry leaders and participate in activites on September 13, 2018? If you answer “YES” to these questions, you are eligible to seek scholarship funds through the ‘Targeting Excellence Program’. This program has been developed by food animal industry partners to identify and encourage college students to pursue career opportunities in the food animal sector. The Ohio group will have upwards of $40,000 to award in 2018. All you need to do is follow this link to Targeting Excellence, complete the essay, and attend the September 13, 2018 event. Due dates for applications are in early April, so now is the time to act. Announcements of awards will occur soon following review of applications. The event in September is mandatory for individuals awarded the scholarship. Open to all with an interest.
