Humane Animal Rescue's Wildlife Rehabilitation Internship

An exciting internship opportunity with Humane Animal Rescue’s Wildlife Rehabilitation Center is available. As the second largest rehabilitation center in Pennsylvania, over 4,200 animals are admitted of over 150 different native PA Specie annually.

The internship program is designed for students studying biology or environmental sciences. Students will be provided with a well-rounded program in which they will have the opportunity to observe and assist Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitators with examinations, treatments, and medication distribution. Daily work will be heavily focused on animal husbandry, supportive care, and general preparation for releasing healthy animals to their native habitats.

While previous experience is a bonus, this program is also great for entry level students. The practical experiences gained will help round out your education and assist with future careers.
