The Dairy Challenge allows teams of 3 to 4 individuals to use the knowledge and skills learned in the classroom to compete in a fun, educational environment. Due to COVID-19, an actual visit to a dairy farm will not be possible. Therefore, videos, pictures, records, and management information will be collected from a farm and made available to students (see schedule). Teams will evaluate the strengths and opportunities for the dairy farm and prepare a 20- minute presentation for a panel of judges. Any class or online sources of information can be used during the evaluation. Students need to present their own work; in other words, students should not consult with individuals outside of their own team. Awards will be presented to the top teams.
Students can register 3 to 4 members on a team. If you do not have a pre-arranged team, register as an individual and you will be placed on a team.
You MUST register by Friday, November 13.
More information on the Challenge and how to register can be found here.
