Certified Angus Beef ® Brand Opportunities

1) Graduate and Undergraduate Opportunities
A new fellowship program with Colorado State University provides one graduate student who is researching beef quality supply the chance to learn more about branded beef. This year's fellow Colton Smith expanded his network and had enhanced educational opportunities working with the brand.
Certified Angus Beef awarded $59,000 to students through the Colvin Scholarship. This year's top graduate recipient is Ronald Trotta from the University of Kentucky and the top undergraduate recipient is Abbey Schiefelbein from Kansas State University. Each was awarded $7,500 to assist their pursuit of agricultural degrees. The Colvin Scholarship application will open later this fall. Please direct any of your students to apply who are deserving of this scholarship and have an interest in the future of quality beef production.
2) Ride for the Brand
Certified Angus Beef is looking for a Product Business Manager to join our packing team. This person will work with production and the brand's business development to find strategies that maximize carcass utilization to keep our premium beef the most competitive in the market. There are several other opportunities on our careers page. Please share with any students or colleagues who may be interested in these open positions.
