2021 Ohio Targeting Excellence Event

Targeting Excellence is a 510c3 that raises money to award scholarships to students majoring in food animal agriculture.  Students pursuing Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degrees are eligible for the scholarships.  It is well-known that college is expensive and this is a great opportunity for students to help offset some of those costs.  They have had events in Ohio since 2016 and have awarded over $275,000 so far from their Ohio events and well over 1 million nationally.  More information can be found at:

The event is scheduled for Thursday September 30th at Cardinal Shooting Center in Marengo Ohio.  In addition to it all being free for students to attend, it is also a great networking opportunity for them to get out and meet people in the food animal agriculture industry.  Any student that wants to shoot at the event will get grouped with a sponsor team and non-shooting students will still get to participate and interact with industry professionals.  There will be a lunch at midday and this year the guest speaker will be Dr. Dennis Summers, Ohio Interim- State Veterinarian.

As an added bonus all students that attend the event receive extra points on their scholarship application which is significant when tallying up results.  We would also welcome your participation at the event.  The link for student sign up is:
