  1. JBS will be hosting a panel for Ohio State Students hosted by JBS executives from either poultry, pork, beef, or corporate.

  2. Are you interested in applying to our joint veterinary technology program that allows you to graduate with not only your B.S. from Ohio State but also an A.S. degree within veterinary technology from Columbus State Community College? 

INTERNSHIP & PART-TIME ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. The CSU Equine Reproduction Laboratory offers a unique Equine Breeding Farm Internship Program. The program provides advanced training in equine breeding farm procedures and management for individuals with a sincere desire to pursue a career in the equine breeding industry.

  2. The Kentucky Equine Management Internship is planning to host interns for our upcoming Spring Reproduction and Breeding session to be held January 11-June 11, 2021 with some minor modifications to the academic portion of the course.

GRADUATE SCHOOL OPPORTUNITIES

  1. Fulbright is the largest U.S. exchange program for students and young professionals to undertake international graduate study, advanced research, university teaching, and primary and secondary school teaching worldwide. 

COLUMBUS EVENTS

  1. Subscribe to D-Tix's Weekly Email to get information regarding ticket sales to events around Columbus. Below are tickets D-Tix currently has on sale. 

  2. The Pearl Market is a farmer’s market full of fresh foods and open through Oct. 16, 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., 31 E. Gay St Columbus, OH 43215. Pearl Market takes place every Tuesday and Friday. 

  3. SummerFEST is a two-week festival of outdoor, socially distant performances taking place between August 30 to September 11. Small groups of 4-15 musicians will perform for limited audiences at four venues.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

  1. Farms.com is pleased to announce a contest for a chance to win one of three US$2,000 scholarships for students who have a precision agriculture idea that will have a positive impact on the environment.

STUDY ABROAD INFORMATION

  1. As an alternative to an in-person Education Abroad Expo, the Office of International Affairs is hosting a virtual Education Abroad Expo Week.

LEADERSHIP & DEVELOPMENT

  1. The Office of Student Life – Buckeye Leadership Fellows Program (BLF) is accepting early applications for our next cohort, BLF ’23.

  2. Don't miss the 2020 Fall Career and Internship Fair virtually via Handshake.

  3. Attend this workshop to learn everything you need to have a successful career fair experience. You will understand how to sign up, how to prepare, and how to network while at the fair.

NAVIGATING COVID TOGETHER

  1. In alignment with recommendations from the Safe Campus and Scientific Advisory Subgroup, Campus Area Bus Service (CABS) continues to limit occupancy to support safety and physical distancing guidelines. For students coming/going to our CFAES Columbus campus, please note:

  2. What are some of the things you’re doing to rejuvenate?  We’re looking for photo submissions & captions to highlight each week of the term to help your peers see what others are doing to stay happy and healthy.  Please submit to 

  3. The Libraries are currently offering contact-free pickup by appointment at Thompson Library only, and document delivery through

  6. The Career Services page on the departmental site has been redeveloped to hopefully make it more user-friendly. Check out helpful resources for building a resume, writing cover letters and more.
